Master Association Board Considering Dues Increase

The Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association Board will review a draft of the 2020 Budget at its Oct. 22 meeting at 6 p.m. at the Ranch House. The Board is considering an increase in dues in the amount of $2-$4 per month. Some major operating costs are increasing in 2020 by the following amounts:

  • Trash/Recycling Services: $12,000
  • Insurance: $12,000
  • Water: $70,000

In addition to these operational expenditures, the Master Association Board is considering the following projects in 2020:

  • Drainage Project at Dakota Lodge Building
  • Easement/Right-of-Way Archive Project
  • Open Space Fence North Border 4th and Final Phase
  • Picnic Tables – Open Space
  • Ranch House Pool Project Final Phase
  • Ranch House Pool Contingency
  • Ranch House Pool Covers
  • Ranch House Pool Third-Party Inspections
  • Ranch House Pool Lounge Chairs
  • Ranch House Pool Tables and Chairs
  • Ranch House Pool Café Chairs
  • Ranch House Pool Trash Cans
  • Soft-Surface to Hard-Surface Trail Conversions
  • Valley Parkway Crossing

The Board will be discussing which of the above projects they will fund in 2020, thus determining the amount of the dues increase.

The Master Association’s draft budget will be posted online no later than Oct. 21 at the Budgets and Reports page.
