Pool Revenue: Community Feedback Summary

Two community meetings were held on Saturday, January 12th and Wednesday, January 16th to gain more feedback on funding pool operations. These meetings were scheduled after concern from residents about the District potentially charging for access to the pools in 2019. The District’s Board of Directors agreed not to charge daily use fees when it adopted the 2019 budget in December. The pools require approximately $275,000 in tax revenue each year. The Board has requested a solution to capture $55,000 in 2019 by cutting costs or generating more revenue. From there, staff requested feedback from the community in the form of emails and through these meetings.
