Fitness Classes

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced exerciser, Ken-Caryl Ranch’s group exercise classes harness the energy of many for a motivating, challenging and totally addictive workout experience. A variety of traditional and innovative classes are offered by our nationally certified fitness and yoga instructors.

Class Descriptions

BOOTCAMP
This class uses HITT (High Intensity Interval Training), body weight resistance exercises (push ups, up downs) and challenging core work to challenge every muscle in your body! Achieve a great all over body workout out in a 45-minute fast-paced workout!

CHISEL
This class is designed to challenge, to change you! Progressive technique of strength training will continually challenge your muscles, which will in turn make changes in your lean muscle mass, bone density, metabolic rate as well as strength!

DEEP WATER
A wonderful and refreshing workout that takes place in the deep end of the pool. It incorporates cardio and resistance training to help tone and sculpt without impact to the joints. Resistance tools may include buoyant water weights and noodles. A fantastic and challenging workout!

FOCUSED FITNESS
This class combines elements of a standard Barre-Method class with additional emphasis on core..These exercises will provide muscle toning and strength building as well as balance training.

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS
Inspired by ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and designed to improve strength, flexibility, range of movement, balance, posture & core condition. Feel more coordinated & confident!

HATHA YOGA
All levels welcome. Explore the relationship between body, breath and movement. This class combines posture with breath and focuses on alignment, balance, breath awareness, strengthening and stretching. The posture series will differ from week to week.

PILATES
A workout designed to develop core strength, mobility and coordination. Through the use of traditional Pilates, yoga poses, stretching, movement patterns and conditioning exercises. Pilates participants will enjoy improvement in posture, flexibility, balance and overall toning.

POWER PLUS
Challenge your body to a full body workout! A class structured around muscular endurance and cardio intervals designed to build long lean muscle, increase bone density & metabolism!

TOTAL BODY BLITZ
This class uses HITT (High Intensity Interval Training), weights and challenging core work to challenge every muscle in your body! All this work is designed to keep your body burning calories for hours after you are done!

TOTAL BODY CHALLENGE
This class uses HITT (High Intensity Interval Training), weights and challenging core work to challenge every muscle in your body! All this work is designed to keep your body burning calories for hours after you are done!

TREAD & SHRED
A one hour class made up of, weights, cardiovascular endurance, plyometrics, core & stabilization- a class like no other! Built around increasing your metabolic capacity this class is constructed around timed intervals designed to keep your body burning calories for hours after you have finished!

WATER AEROBICS
A wonderful and refreshing workout that incorporates cardio and resistance training to help tone and sculpt without impact to the joints. Resistance tools may include buoyant water weights and noodles.

YOGA FUNDAMENTALS

ZUMBA
The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away.
