Foundation Training

Foundation Training is a safe and effective exercise program focused on the posterior chain of muscles. Postural body weight exercises will be taught by a certified instructor. Incorporating these principles into your daily routine will heal pain naturally, prevent common injuries, build strength, enhance athletic ability and improve your posture. Class Flyer

3-Class Workshop
Dates: Mondays, April 16, 23 & 30
Time: 4:45-5:30 p.m.
Location: Community Center
This 3-session workshop will be a class focused on increasing flexibility and strength all while improving current back pain and preventing back injuries. We’ll also work on your posture and teach you new and efficient ways to move. You’ll be given exercises to work on at home between classes and will have 12 new exercises to help you stay healthy when you complete this program.

Sip and Shop

The Community Center is hosting a Sip and Shop just in time for Mother’s Day! Come enjoy a mimosa or coffee while you shop for Mother’s Day gifts! We will have TRENDZ Boutique, 3Js PURE essential oils, Rodan + Fields, and Samoe Style! Come shop for yourself or that special mom in your life! FREE entrance to prize drawings with each purchase made!

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs and lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for 2 to five minutes. This class will help increase your flexibility. Yin Yoga stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility as the poses stretch and exercise the bone and joint areas. This class is a great addition to your fitness routine!

Junior Weight Room Certification

Youth 12-18 years of age must be certified by our personal trainers in order to use the exercise/weight equipment at the Community Center. Youth 12-13 years old must be accompanied by an adult when using the weight and cardio equipment. The class takes place at the Community Center and costs $20 for residents or $23 for non-residents. Click on the Register Online button below for dates and times and to register.

NOTE: Once certified, youth ages 12 and 13 must be accompanied by an adult when using the fitness area.
