Ageless and Unstoppable

Due to its immense popularity, Ageless & Unstoppable, Programming for Seniors, Retirees and Adults, will continue throughout the year! Join us for fun, educational programming geared toward seniors, retirees and adults. The program is held from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the *Shaffer Room at the Ranch House on the first Tuesday of each month and beginning June 2024 moving to weekly meetings from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on Thursdays in June, July and August! For program topics, please see below. No registration required.

Thursday, June 27 – Tech Presentation: Scam Awareness:

Back by popular demand…Jessica Jones with What the Tech?! She will give a presentation on Scam Awareness. Cyber-crime is a growing concern for our communities. In this class we will discuss some of the most common email, text and phone scams and what to do about them. Everyone is invited to this free Ageless & Unstoppable event on Thursday, June 27 from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Ranch House.

Thursday, July 11 – Reverse Mortgages:

Ken Lopata with Complete Funding Financial Services will present about Reverse Mortgages. He will provide an overview of how a reverse mortgage works, discuss definitions & features, myths vs. facts, proceeds & repayment, and how using a Reverse Mortgage can help seniors meet their retirement goals.

Thursday, July 18 – 

Awareness Presentation – Ron Ushida, Presenter:

This 45 minute presentation gives an overview of the Alzheimer’s Association and the services that we provide, all free of charge. We will provide some information on the 10 Warning Signs, Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia and some ideas on how to deal with dementia related behavior. Plus information on upcoming education events, support groups and other local resources.

Activation Presentation – Stephanie Foster, Presenter:

Ways to get involved, and make a difference, from volunteer opportunities, to event participation, and how to help raise awareness and funds in your own community.
