Seasonal Employee Scholarship Application

  • Employee Status: To be eligible for the Employee Scholarship program, applicants must be or have been
    employed as a Seasonal employee of the District the same calendar year of application.
  • Length of Service: Applicants must have completed the entire summer season of continuous service with
    the District.
  • Academic Pursuits: The scholarship is intended to support educational pursuits. Applicants must be
    enrolled in a recognized educational institution, including accredited colleges, universities, vocational
    schools, or similar programs.
Application Process
  • Interested and eligible employees must complete the official scholarship application form.
  • The application must be submitted to the Human Resources department no later than the specified
    deadline each year.
Selection Process
  • Once the application has been reviewed for eligibility by the Human Resources department, it is sent to
    the scholarship selection committee for review and consideration. Award decisions are made based on
    established criteria.
Terms and Conditions
  • The scholarship is a one-time award and is not renewable.
  • Recipients are required to fulfill their seasonal employment with no write-ups or corrective action.

Seasonal Scholarship Application

The District has established an Employee Scholarship Program aimed at providing financial assistance for the educational development of seasonal employees. The District will award up to three $500 scholarships.
