4th of July Bash

Celebrate Independence Day at the 4th of July Pool Bash!

Join us at all three Ken-Caryl Ranch pools on July 4 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. for a full day of poolside fun, games, music, and activities for all ages. Bring your family and friends and make a splash as we celebrate the holiday together!

The Ranch House Pool will feature a live DJ, bounce houses, balloon twisters, face painters, and food trucks in addition to the scheduled activities below.

Cardboard Boat Race

Will Your Boat Sink or Swim This 4th of July?
Get ready to test your engineering skills and your sense of adventure! We are thrilled to announce the 4th Annual Cardboard Boat Race at the Ranch House pool.

Whether you’re aiming for the grand prize or just hoping to stay afloat longer than your neighbors, it’s time to start gathering your materials.

The Challenge Rules
Before you start building your masterpiece, make sure your vessel meets our official race regulations:

Materials Only: Boats must be constructed strictly from cardboard and duct tape.

Dimensions: Your boat must be no longer than 6 feet and no wider than 3 feet.

The Crew: At least two team members must ride in the boat during the race.

BYOB (Build Your Own Boat): All boats must be built prior to the event. Please note: KCRMD will not provide building materials.

Race Day Schedule & Deadlines
Pre-Registration: Teams must register prior to July 4th to participate. Don’t wait until the last minute!

Check-In & Inspection: Bring your completed boat to the Ranch House pool by 12:00 PM on the 4th of July for inspection.

 The Grand Prize
The winning team will walk away with a $50 credit to use for District programming and rentals!

Note: The credit is awarded per team (not per individual) and can be split among team members if preferred.
