Pool Closures
Weather Closure Policy
Our aquatic risk management company, StarGuard Elite’s policy is when thunder is heard or lightning is seen, or within 10 miles, the pool must close until the thunder and/or lightning has stopped for at least 30 minutes. You will be required to leave the pool and the pool deck for your safety and the safety of our guards. If the pool will be closed for a short amount of time due to weather, we won’t post updates on social media. However, if the pool is expected to be closed all day, we will make every effort to update Ken-Caryl Ranch’s Facebook page.
The weather changes rapidly; therefore, delays and closures at the pool can happen rapidly as well. You can also monitor the weather using the WeatherBug app, just like our guards!
* NO REFUNDs will be given for closures due to weather or unforeseeable events. Guests may receive a hand stamp to return to any of the pools later in the day.

Nanny passes are available for $25 for the summer. Please note: Only one nanny pass will be allowed per household. The nanny can only swim when accompanying the kids. 2023 Pool Fees
In-District residents are FREE; however, residents MUST register for a pool pass through their ActiveNet account prior to visiting the pools. In-District residents will be subject to pay the out-of-District rate of $10/person if they do not register for a pool pass. Only members living permanently in the District will be considered residents.
For entry into the pool you may use the following:
- an activated fob (if you had a fob for your pool pass in 2022, when you register this year it will automatically update)
- a photo of your activated fob
- a photo of the barcode on your receipt when you register for a pool pass
Please stop by the Ranch House or Community Center during business hours if you would like a fob. Pool staff can’t not issue fobs this season.
*If you don’t have any of these but did register, staff can check you in by searching your name. This is less ideal as it takes time when other patrons are waiting to check in.

How to Register for FREE Pool Admission
Using the button below, please go to your Activenet account and register all family members for swim passes. Registration will be reviewed weekly by Guest Services staff to ensure all registrants are in-District residents.
Nanny and Grandchild Pool Pass
To purchase a Grandchild Pool Pass
The parent or legal guardian of your grandchildren will need to have a Ken-Caryl Ranch activity registration account with up to date contact information, including email and phone number. Each grandchild must be listed in the parent or legal guardian’s account with the correct name, home address, phone number and email for the parent or guardian, and date of birth of the child. Once that is complete, you will need to complete the Grandchild Pool Pass Form.
Please note the payment will be processed using the payment method on the resident grandparent’s account. To avoid delays, make sure your payment method is up to date. Grandchild passes are $25 per child. A receipt will be emailed after completion.
To Purchase a Nanny Pool Pass
If your nanny is a non-resident and doesn’t already have a Ken-Caryl Ranch activity registration account they will need to create one here. The nanny should list their own address and contact information in their profile and not the resident’s address. Once that is complete, you will need to complete the Nanny Pool Pass Form. Please note only one nanny pass will be allowed per household.

After you receive your receipt, pool access cards may be picked up at the Ranch House administration office during normal business hours. A photo is required before use.

Ranch House Pool Deck Rentals
Rent the Ranch House pool deck for parties while you swim!
Maximum of 30 people in the party using the deck.
The ADA ramp to access the bathrooms goes through the back deck so patrons need to be sure to leave an aisle for ADA access on the deck 2 picnic tables, access to the grill, must bring own grilling tools and clean grill after use ($50 service fee for not cleaning up area and grill).
This rental does NOT include access to the pool for non-residents. Non-residents will need to purchase a daily drop in pass. Cancellations must be made three weeks in advance in order to be issued a refund.

Pool Rentals
Pool rental registration is all online this year and will be available May 1 at 9 a.m. for residents and May 8 for non-residents. Rentals will be available the June 4 through August 13.
Pool rental is for 2 hours and at the designated times only. Pool rental pricing and times are below. Renters must register to rent a pool online at least 2 weeks prior to the rental date. All rental requests will be reviewed, and if approved, a confirmation will be issued within 72 hours of your request. For fast and easy approvals, please ensure you have an online account and current form of payment on file, as renters will be charged upon approval. Cancellations must be made three weeks in advance in order to be issued a refund.
Lifeguards will be provided for the duration of the party for guarding purposes only. The entire rental fee is due at the time of signing the reservation contract. All District pool rules and regulations must be followed at all times by the members of the party. Absolutely no alcohol or glass is allowed at any time.

Class
Water Aerobics
Designed for ages 18+ to develop cardiovascular fitness and strengthen muscles; this is the perfect way to get fit without stressing your joints. Swimming helps alleviate pain, improve circulation, and promote healing and muscle development for those suffering from physical ailments resulting from injury, disease, or aging. Registration is required. Classes, times, and registration will be available every other Wednesday for the following two weeks. Premiere Fitness Memberships along with Silver Sneaker, Renew Active and Silver&Fit members enjoy unlimited access to water aerobics. However, classes still require registration. All other patrons will be charged a daily drop-in fee: $15 for residents, $18 for non-residents when registering. To verify your eligibility in Silver Sneakers, Renew Active and Silver&Fit please stop by the Ranch House or the Community Center during normal business hours.

Lightning
Swim Club
Ken-Caryl Ranch Swim Club is a competitive/recreational team that trains until the end of July. Competition is grouped by ages 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-18. Participants are required to have skills in at least two of the four competitive strokes. Swimmers will be taught to improve and refine skills in all competitive strokes. Our Swim Club is not a Learn-To-Swim Program. Ken-Caryl Swim Club is coordinated by dedicated parent volunteers, not Ken-Caryl Ranch staff.
