Ken-Caryl Ranch Facilities
Our outdoor amenities (outdoor tennis courts, pools) are free for Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District (KCRMD) residents that are in-district, e.g., within the KCRMD’s boundaries. Anyone outside the KCRMD boundaries must pay the non-resident rates, even if they are Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association (KCRMA) residents. Neighborhoods that are not within the KCRMD but are within KCRMA include the Mountain Gate properties, Bell Ken-Caryl apartments, and Deer Creek Villas. The fitness programs and indoor tennis courts have various fees for both district residents and non-residents.

The spacious Ranch House is surrounded by approximately 17 acres of recreation area.

Rent the Ranch House Pool Deck for Your Next Party!
Host your party on the Ranch House pool deck while you swim!
- Maximum Capacity: 30 people.
- Amenities:
- 2 picnic tables.
- Access to the grill (guests must bring their own grilling tools and clean the grill after use).
- A $50 service fee will be charged if the area and grill are not cleaned.
- Accessibility: The ADA ramp to access the bathrooms passes through the back deck. Please ensure an aisle is kept clear for ADA access.
Important Details:
- This rental does not include pool access for non-residents. Non-residents must purchase a daily drop-in pass or residents may provide access to their guest by purchasing a Resident Family Pass
- Cancellations must be made at least three weeks in advance to receive a refund.
- Rentals are available only during the pool’s seasonal operation.
The Ranch House Pool Deck is available for rent weekends and weekdays from 10:45 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. & 3-7 p.m. / Weekdays & Weekends. The cost is $79 for residents, $103 for non-residents.

The Ken-Caryl Ranch Community Center is a complete recreation facility that was remodeled in 2016. The facility is owned by Jefferson County Open Space and operated by the Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District. The Community Center is easily accessed off of C-470 and offers exceptional views of the Dakota Hogback to the east.

BRADFORD POOL & TENNIS COURTS
Location: 6 Killdeer Lane
Pool Hours:
Daily, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Pool closes for the season in mid August.
Tennis Court Hours:
Daily, 8 a.m. – Dusk
The Bradford Pool, located in the North Ranch, is open during the summer only. In addition to the swimming pool and wading pool, there are 2 outdoor tennis courts, a picnic area, and a playground.

The Ken-Caryl Ranch Equestrian Center offers boarding, training, and events. We teach total horsemanship from beginner to advanced levels. Group and private lessons are available year round.
Dakota Lodge is located on the grounds of the Equestrian Center. The Open Space Manager’s office is located at Dakota Lodge, and the Ranger Office is next door. KC Nature Environmental Education classes are also hosted here.

There are multiple rooms available at the Ranch House and Dakota Lodge that may be reserved for private parties, weddings, meetings, and community groups. You can see photos and access further details on our reservation site.
How to Reserve the Facilities
To check availability of a park or reserve a space for your next gathering please visit our reservation site. To reserve a sports field, please contact recreation@kcranch.org.
To reserve an indoor space:
First step is to determine if your time and date are available for rental. Go to our online Reservations Site and click “View Facility Availability”. Then, simply follow the prompts and search the facility you are interested in reserving. If you don’t already have an account, be sure to create one by clicking “Create an Account” in the upper right-hand corner. Once you’ve determined your preferred date and time, click “Book” to begin the reservation process.

Community Group Application
Are you a Ken-Caryl Community Group? To be considered as a Community Group, please follow the link below to complete the application form. Community groups are organized social or networking groups whose members are a majority of (51%) Ken-Caryl Ranch Residents and whose purpose or mission is to support and benefit the Ken-Caryl Ranch community. Ken-Caryl Ranch offers three beautiful outdoor spaces for your next gathering: the Sunshine Patio, Ranch House Picnic Area, and Community Park Picnic Shelter. All facilities are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless reserved, which guarantees priority use.
Ranch House Picnic Area
Situated south of the Ranch House and east of the playground, this area offers seating for approximately 50 people. Please note that access to the Ranch House Swimming Pool is not included unless separately reserved.
Community Park Picnic Shelter
Located at Community Park east of the playground, this picnic shelter also accommodates up to 50 people. The area includes two portable restrooms for guest convenience.
Sunshine Patio
Located at the Community Center, the Sunshine Patio is the newest addition to our rental facilities. This intimate space can accommodate up to 30 people and is perfect for small gatherings, business meetings, or social events. It features four round picnic tables and a shade sail, providing a comfortable and stylish setting for your event.
Reservation Details
Reservations for the Ranch House and Community Park Picnic areas are available in two time blocks: 10 a.m.–2 p.m. or 3–7 p.m. The Sunshine Patio is available in a 4-hour time block. To make a reservation request, visit our reservation site, select your desired facility, and provide your event details. Requests will be reviewed, and confirmations sent within 72 hours if approved.

Bradford Park Open Space
The Bradford Open Space is the mowed area behind the restored ruins of the Bradford-Perley House, which was built in 1859. This area sits within mixed grasslands and backs to a historic apple orchard; dramatic red rock formations dominate the landscape. Bradford Open Space is private; for Ken-Caryl Ranch residents only and can be reserved for $65 per 23-hour block of time from 12 p.m. to 11 a.m. Bradford Open Space has an accessible portable restroom available to use. To use the fire pit, you must pick up a fire extinguisher from the Community Center. To make a reservation request, please go to reservation site. Your request will be reviewed, and if approved, you will receive a reservation confirmation within 72 hours of your request.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Full rental fee is collected upon customer reservation. If cancelled more than four weeks in advance, Renter will receive a full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than four weeks’ notice will result in Renter’s forfeiture of the rental fee. If the four weeks’ notice deadline date occurs during non-business hours, then an email requesting cancellation should be sent to recreation@kcranch.org
