Open Space Christmas Tree Event

The weather is crisp, the temperatures are dropping and the holidays are just around the corner! To help you prepare, Ken-Caryl Ranch is hosting its beloved Christmas Tree Event.

The Ranger Staff is offering approximately 200 Douglas fir trees harvested from the Foothills Open Space as part of our forest health initiative. These trees are naturally grown, not from a manicured tree farm, so expect a variety of sizes and shapes. Rangers and volunteers will display the trees near the barn, along with tree boughs. Supplies are limited, and trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Warm up with complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and donuts provided by our rangers while you select your tree.

Donations by cash, check or credit card are accepted but not required and help offset harvesting operations. Please limit your selection to one tree per family so as many households as possible can enjoy this cherished tradition.

This community event supports sustainable forestry. By removing small-diameter trees, we reduce ladder fuels, improve wildlife habitat and promote overall forest health.
