Ageless and Unstoppable

Programming for Seniors, Retirees, and Adults

Join us for fun, entertaining adult programming from 10-11:30am in the Shaffer Room at the Ranch House on the dates below. Topics will include Christmas in July, Old Fashioned Games, and Learn to Sharpen Your Skills in Tenacity, Resilience, Imagination & Purpose by Keith Rennison. Light refreshments will be provided. Tuesday, August 2, 2022 – Topic: Five Red Flags of Scams, with Cary Johnson, Director of Crime Prevention for 1st District Attorney’s Office

Older Americans lose $38 billion to scams every year. This session will provide you with five tips for recognizing scams and give several steps to assist in preventing them from ever reaching your life.

Tuesday, August 16, 2022 – Topic: The Importance of Writing Your Life Stories, with author and teacher Karen Harlin.

Life is made up of a series of stories, so why not tell yours? Telling your story will help you craft a personal vision that can capture your past and guide your future. It creates a connection and greater intimacy with your readers, allowing them to learn through your knowledge and wisdom. Come see how sharing your life stories can impact the next generations with host Karen Harlin.

We are bringing back the fun and nostalgia of your childhood! Join us as we play games from the past! These games are designed to also strengthen your fingers, foster teamwork, and help with coordination and strategic thinking. This class is taught by award-winning event planner Willie Ripple! 

Tuesday, September 6, 2022 – Topic: The Importance of Movement and Exercise as We Age, with Ken-Caryl Fitness Coordinator Janet Robbins

Join Ken-Caryl Ranch’s very own Fitness Coordinator, Janet Robbins in this informative, active class. Janet will cover the benefits of movement, provide examples of how to be active in a short session (active portion approximately 30 minutes), and enlighten the class on KC Fitness offerings and how to easily get involved potentially at no cost!  

We are not offering a program on the second Tuesday of each month because the Senior Club has a luncheon meeting from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at the Ranch House.
