Halloween Boo Bash
Celebrate Halloween with friends and neighbors at the annual Boo Bash: Trunk or Treat on October 23 from 4:30–6:30 p.m. This family-friendly event invites trick-or-treaters to walk through the Ranch House parking lot, collect candy and enjoy festive, decorated vehicles in a fun and safe environment.
Enjoy an evening of ghoulish fun with hayrides, s’mores and plenty of treats while showing off your best costume.
Trunk-or-Treat Participation
There is no charge for community members to participate in any part of the event. Residents and non-residents who would like to decorate a vehicle and hand out candy must register in advance, but registration is free.
Decorated trunks will also compete in a friendly contest! Attendees can vote for their favorite trunk throughout the evening. The trunk receiving the most votes by 6:15 p.m. will take home a special prize.
No registration is required for attendees who simply wish to walk through, trick-or-treat and enjoy the event.

Boo Bash Vendor Information
Businesses are invited to join the fun at Boo Bash: Trunk or Treat on October 23 from 4:30–6:30 p.m. by hosting a decorated trunk and handing out treats to approximately 500 attendees.
The business registration fee is $50 and advance registration is required. Registration deadlines is Wednesday, October 21st.
Vendor Requirements
- Arrival: Please arrive and have your vehicle in place before 4 p.m. This is a strict deadline. The parking lot will close to traffic before the event to help keep trick-or-treaters safe.
- Vehicle Safety: Once parked, vehicles must remain off for the duration of the event. No idling vehicles are permitted.
- Decorations: Get creative! Decorations should be kid-friendly, festive and fun. Please avoid decorations that may be overly scary for young children.
- Event Hours: Vendors must remain for the full event from 4:30–6:30 p.m.
- Treats: Please bring enough candy and/or trinkets for approximately 500 attendees. If you run out during the event, event staff can provide additional treats.
- Trunk Competition: Attendees will vote for their favorite decorated trunk. The trunk receiving the most votes by 6:15 p.m. will receive a special prize.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel your registration, please email recreation@kcranch.org. Cancellations must be made by October 16th for a full refund less credit cards fees. After this date, no refunds will be issued.
Participant substitutions are not permitted. Full refunds will be issued if the program is canceled by the Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District.
