Celebrate Your Birthday at the Barn
Make your special day unforgettable with a horse-themed birthday party at the Ken-Caryl Equestrian Center. Put on your boots and enjoy a fun-filled experience with horses, friends and family.
Birthday parties include a one-hour hand-led riding experience, where each child takes turns riding the same horse. After the riding portion, you’re welcome to continue the celebration with cake, presents and time together in one of the available gathering areas.
Food and beverages are not provided.

$150
Up to 6 Children
- Includes one instructor and one horse
- Up to 6 children included
- Additional horses and riders may be available upon request. Please contact the Equestrian Center for arrangements.
Party Locations
After the riding experience, you may continue your celebration in one of the following areas:
- Indoor Riding School Office
- Outdoor Picnic Tables
- Dakota Lodge Playground
Before You Arrive
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone:
- Closed-toe shoes are required for all riders.
- Long pants are recommended.
- Parents are responsible for supervising children when they are not riding.
- Running and shouting near the horses is not permitted.
- Decorations are welcome inside the office.
- Balloons are not permitted anywhere on the property.
- Children ages 4–5 may ride with a parent walking alongside the horse and must bring their own helmet.
Booking and Waivers
Payment is due at the time of booking through the Equestrian Center’s online scheduling system.
All participants must have a completed waiver on file at least one week before the scheduled party date.
Please note: The Ken-Caryl Equestrian Center is a community amenity owned by Ken-Caryl Ranch residents.
Nonresident participants are subject to a 20% nonresident fee.
