Fire Extinguisher

The renter must pick up the fire extinguisher at the Ken-Caryl Ranch Community Center: 1 Club Drive, Littleton, CO 80127 – (303) 979-2233. Community Center Hours: Mon-Thurs 6am-7pm; Fri 6am-5pm; Sat 8am-4pm; Sun 9am-3pm*

Renters must return the fire extinguisher to the Community Center front desk within 1-2 business days after their event.*

Requirements

Firewood*

Please check all statements to acknowledge you have read and understand the requirements.

Reservation holder supplies their own wood for fire pit and water to extinguish fire/coals

Reservation holder is responsible for removing unused firewood from site

Fire*

Please check all statements to acknowledge you have read and understand the requirements.

Do NOT leave fire unattended

Do not maintain a fire during high wind conditions (+15 mph)

Flame height not to exceed 2 feet

Drown the campfire with water, scrape all partially burned sticks and logs to make sure all the hot embers are off them. Stir embers after they are covered with water and make sure that everything is wet.

Remember . . . if it is too hot to touch, it is too hot to leave!

Key and Access to Site*

Bradford Bollard Lock – issued with fire extinguisher upon request.

Bollard Lock is the responsibility of the reservation holder; a fee will be charged to replace if lost.

If requesting vehicular access to fire pit, only ONE vehicle at a time is allowed to unload/load materials only. The vehicle must be returned to the parking lot after unload/load.

Park all vehicles in the Bradford Pool parking lot.

Quiet Hours*

Please check all statements to acknowledge you have read and understand the requirements.

Quiet hours are observed between 10:00pm –6:00am.

Sound Amplification*

Please check all statements to acknowledge you have read and understand the requirements.

Sound amplification and/or unreasonable loud noises that would disturb others is prohibited.

Fire Bans*

Please check all statements to acknowledge you have read and understand the requirements.

Use of the fire pit is prohibited during local and state fire bans. For more information on Fire Bans, call 303-271-8200 or visit the Jeffco Fire Ban website linked below.

Park Rangers*

Park Rangers will check on site during reservation as time allows.

Fines*

The following fines may be charged if non-compliance is found. Please check all statements to acknowledge you have read and understand the requirements.

Fire extinguisher replacement – $120

Fire extinguisher water refill – $30

Multiple vehicles parked at site – $50

Failure to remove firewood – $50

Failure to extinguish flame/hot coals – $50

Items left at the site including but not limited to, trash/garbage, decorations, signs, etc. – $50
