The Veterans Monument at Ken-Caryl Ranch is located at the southeast corner of Crestone Mountain and Sangre de Cristo Road. The Veterans Monument recognizes and honors anyone who has served or is currently serving in the United States Armed Forces. Monetary donations are still needed to continue to improve and enhance the monument. You can donate any amount or purchase a $300 Honor Brick that will become a permanent part of the monument.
Video About the Monument
The American Society of Concrete Contractors and the Decorative Concrete Council created a video about the Veterans Monument at Ken-Caryl Ranch. Both of these organizations contributed money, equipment, concrete and manpower for the construction of the Veterans Monument. This video has been shown nationwide at professional meetings and conferences and is now available to all. Click here to view the video.
Everyone is invited to purchase Honor Bricks that will become a permanent part of the Veterans Monument. The Honor Bricks will recognize and honor all who have ever served, as well as those now on active duty or reserves in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces. There are a limited number of Honor Bricks available. A tax-deductible donation of $300 is requested for each brick. You can download an Honor Brick Order Form to start the process. Each brick will be personalized with the name of the person, rank, branch of service and dates of service or conflict. Clip Art is optional.
