About Ken-Caryl Ranch

Ken-Caryl Ranch is a unique community where two organizations work together to serve residents, protect community assets and enhance quality of life. Guided by the shared philosophy of Together in Service, the Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association and the Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District collaborate to provide the programs, amenities, services and stewardship that make Ken-Caryl Ranch a special place to live.

Located along the foothills southwest of Denver, Ken-Caryl Ranch is home to thousands of residents who enjoy an exceptional combination of natural beauty, recreational opportunities, community amenities and active resident involvement. From parks, trails, pools and open space to community events, governance and neighborhood preservation, both organizations play important roles in supporting daily life throughout the Ranch.ree days in advance. Reservations are limited to two hours, per court, per day. 

Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association

The Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association (KCRMA) is the homeowners association responsible for preserving community standards, managing private open space and supporting programs and services that enhance the overall character of the community.

The Master Association oversees:

  • More than 4,800 acres of private open space
  • Private resident trails and trail access
  • Architectural and covenant compliance programs
  • Community communications and publications
  • The Equestrian Center
  • Community engagement initiatives and resident services
  • Long-range planning and stewardship of Association assets

The Master Association is governed by a resident-elected Board of Directors and supported by professional staff who carry out daily operations and strategic priorities.

Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District

The Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District (KCRMD) is a local government entity that provides recreational facilities, programs, parks and public services for the community.

The Metropolitan District manages:

  • Community parks and playgrounds
  • Recreation facilities, pools and fitness amenities
  • Youth and adult recreation programs
  • Sports fields and athletic facilities
  • Community events and special activities
  • Maintenance of District-owned facilities and infrastructure

The District is governed by an elected Board of Directors and funded primarily through property taxes and program revenues. District staff oversee daily operations and work closely with residents to provide high-quality services and recreational opportunities.

While the Master Association and Metropolitan District have distinct responsibilities, they work collaboratively to serve residents and maintain the high quality of life that defines Ken-Caryl Ranch.
