Registration Information
All registration is completed online. Annual enrollment in and payment of the Drop-In or Standard registration fee is required before families can sign up for specific care dates.

Standard Families
Premier Plan
- Available to Ken-Caryl Ranch District residents only
- Guaranteed placement, no cancellations/refunds
- Reliable, set schedule for a semester at a time
- Early access to summer camp registration when enrolled in both semesters
Monthly Plan
- Available to District Residents and Non-Residents
- Register for the following month between the 1st–15th (residents) or 5th–15th (non-residents)
- Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis
- Cancellations follow the policies outlined in the Parent Handbook
Add-On Sessions
Additional care dates may be requested by anyone after monthly registration deadlines, subject to space availability. Add-on fees apply.

Shaffer Elementary – Ranch House location.
Bradford Elementary K-6th grade – Dakota Lodge location. We have made the decision to close the Community Center location for the 2026-27 school year.
We currently only serve those two schools.
Do Before & After Care participants receive early access to summer camp registration?
Yes. Participants enrolled in the Premier Plan for both the fall and spring semesters receive early access to summer camp registration.
How does transportation to and from school work for Before and After school participants?
Ken-Caryl Ranch uses 14-passenger mini buses. Before & After Care instructors are also trained bus drivers and provide daily transportation between program sites and schools.
Where are school year full-day and break camps held?
All full-day programs are held at the Ranch House, regardless of your child’s regular program location.
Do you accept cash or checks for classes?
We don’t accept cash or paper checks.
You can pay using:
Electronic check with no fee
Credit card or debit card with a small processing fee
What is the cancellation policy for camps and school programs?
Before & After Care programs: Requests for a credit or refund must be submitted at least one week before the scheduled program date.
Break Camps: The cancellation deadline for Break Camps is listed on the registration page.
Can I switch my child’s scheduled care days?
Yes, provided you give at least one week’s notice and space is available on the new day.
Requests made after the cancellation deadline may require payment for the new day, and the original day may not be eligible for a refund or credit.
My child is registered as Drop-In, why can’t I sign up for care days online?
Online registration is only available to those registered as “Standard.” If you’re registered as Drop-In, simply email youthprograms@kcranch.org to request specific days.
Can my child attend another on-site program during B&A hours?
Yes. If your child is enrolled in Before & After Care, we can help them attend other on-site programs during program hours. For example, if your child is in After Care at the Community Center, we can walk them to a tennis lesson. If your child is in After Care at the Ranch House, we can walk them to an after-school art class. Please let us know about any scheduled activities so we can help coordinate transportation to and from the program.
How do I find my care registration schedule? What days is my child signed up for? What weeks is my child registered for?
You can view your full schedule by logging into your ActiveNet account. Once logged in, go to your registrations to see the days and weeks your child is signed up.
How do I find my tax receipt for childcare? Can you send me my tax information for last year?
You can find your childcare tax receipts by logging into your ActiveNet account and navigating to your payment history or receipts section. If you need help locating your documents, please contact us and we’ll be happy to assist.
