About this program

Nature and Literature: Fall Book Club

Read, Connect, and Enjoy the Outdoors! Join Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District’s Fall Nature Book Club for a unique blend of reading, conversation, and time in nature. On the first Friday of each month at 10:00 a.m., we’ll gather at one of Ken-Caryl’s beautiful parks to discuss a selected book that celebrates the natural world. Whether you’re a longtime nature lover or simply enjoy a good book and meaningful conversation, you’ll connect with fellow readers while surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors.

  • September: Entangled Life: How Fungi Make Our Worlds, Change Our Minds & Shape Our Futures by Merlin Sheldrake
  • October: The Overstory: A Novel by Richard Powers
  • November: The Comfort of Crows: A Backyard Year by Margaret Renkl
