When deer are close to homes or high-use areas, they are removed for public safety. This follows guidance from Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

Find Out More Information on WildlifeMost Ken-Caryl Ranch open space trails are private and reserved for KCRMA residents and their accompanied guests. However, the Cathy Johnson Trail, Columbine Trail and Quarry Trail are open to the public and provide access to scenic open space areas and South Valley Park.

View Trail Club PageResidents can visit the Metro District’s activity registration and reservation site to reserve the picnic area, Bradford Campsite, near the Bradford Perley House. The Bradford Campsite is available for Ken-Caryl Ranch residents only.
ReservationsResidents of Ken-Caryl Ranch can pick up a trail bracelet at the Ranch House or Community Center during business hours. Please bring proof of address.
View Detailed Trail Bracelet InformationTrail bracelets are strongly encouraged to be placed in a visible place. If you forget it you may be stopped by a park ranger or volunteer patroller and asked to provide proof of residency. Trespassing is strictly enforced.

When using the trails, be sure to carry your trail bracelet with you at all times and follow all posted rules, guidelines and trail etiquette.
