Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District Employment Opportunities

Host/Hostess at Ranch House

Pay Rate: $11/Hour
The Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District is seeking someone to fill a part-time, year-round host/hostess position for the front desk of the business offices at the Ranch House. The host/hostess would maintain a presence at the front desk and supervise all functions in the building. These functions include business meetings, sport and scout meetings and social functions. This position consists of two to three evenings a week and two to three weekend days a month depending on scheduling.

Preschool Teacher

Salary: $12-$15 (DOE)
Hours: 30 hours per week
At Ken-Caryl Ranch Metropolitan District Preschool Programs our goal is to bring joy and discovery to early-childhood education. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for monitoring and teaching the children in our program, developing a curriculum that the children will respond to positively and partnering with our team to enhance the learning environment at our school.

Young Explorers Nature-Based Program After School Teacher

Salary: $12-13/hour, DOE
Hours: 3:00 – 6:00pm with flexible prep time M-F
Location: Dakota Lodge

Before & After School Recreation Program Description:
In our B&A Recreation Program, elementary school students enjoy science, art, hiking, outdoor exploring, field trips and more! Our program is far from a day care – we provide enriching recreational opportunities both indoors and out all year long. Part-Time Tennis Court Maintenance

Salary: $13/Hour
Hours: Winter: Monday-Friday 5:30am-9am, Summer: 5am – 9am
Start Date: Sept. 25

POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for the care and maintenance of all indoor and outdoor tennis courts (20). Scouts, troubleshoots, maintains and repairs facility components to assure optimum playing conditions for tennis customers.

JOB KNOWLEDGE – Essential Functions, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Daily Tennis Court Operations
a. Inspects and cleans courts for daily use.
b. Communicate with supervisor and staff on daily assignments.
c. Ability to operate all equipment.
d. Follow all safety procedures
e. Performs other tasks as required.
f. Early morning hours up to 4 hours per day. Ability to sub weekends.
g. Ability to effectively communicate with fellow employees and customers and the general public.
h. Assists in training and supervision of possible seasonal employees.
i. Works with other departments and outside contractors.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Work is performed indoors and out. Requires some strenuous work, occasional heavy lifting and pushing or pulling and lifting.

MINIMUM EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Requires a high school Diploma or GED. Must have valid Colorado driver license.

Before and After School Program Teacher

Salary: $11 – $13/hour, DOE
Hours: 3:00 – 6:00 pm with flexible prep time.
Schedule is flexible, work 2 – 5 days per week mornings and/or afternoons.
Locations: Dakota Lodge, Ranch House, Community Center

Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association Employment Opportunities

Open Space Seasonal Maintenance Technician

Pay: $10-13/hour (D.O.E.)
Short Term Seasonal: August-November 2017
Hours: Wednesday-Saturday, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m., 40 hours/week

SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Mowing and trimming operations and maintenance.
• Sign installation, repair, and maintenance.
• Building structure repairs and maintenance.
• Fence installation and repair.
