2024 SPECIAL EVENTS
SLASH EVENT
Mark your calendars for our next SLASH Removal Day on April 27 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Equestrian Center. Members of the KCRMD Parks Department will be at the Equestrian Center to collect and chip SLASH, which are considered to be tree debris, loose pine needles, pinecones and tree bark that can easily ignite and fuel wildfires. The KCRMA Ranger staff will be offering resident SLASH collection and curbside pickup as a courtesy to residents on April 24 and April 25. Residents who wish to participate in curbside collection must sign up prior to the event via our website. Registration opens on March 25 at 9 a.m. For more information, including pickup requirements, please click on the SLASH Registration button.

FOOD TRUCK FRIDAYS
NEW for 2024! Join us for Food Truck Fridays on May 3, June 7, July 5 and Aug. 9 from 5:30-8 p.m. in the Dakota Lodge parking lot, where we will host food trucks – from the sweet to the savory – for your eating pleasure! RECYCLING & CLEAN UP EVENT
Mark your calendars for this year’s Recycling & Clean-up Event on May 4 from 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Ranch House. This event is FREE for all residents; however, there are fees for TVs, monitors and floor printers. Recycle or dispose of your unwanted electronics, small appliances, furniture and trash!
Residents are encouraged to bring old recycling bins/totes to this event for disposal.

MEMORIAL DAY EVENT
Join us as we honor our servicemen and women with a ceremony on May 27 from 9-10 a.m. at the Veterans Monument, located in Community Park, across from Shaffer Elementary School in the Ken-Caryl Ranch Plains. The event will feature keynote speaker Tom Coakley, resident and veteran, and Summit Sound of Voices West will perform the National Anthem. Pastries and refreshments will be served.

COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE
The Ken-Caryl Community Garage Sale will be held Friday and Saturday, June 7-8 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Join neighbors across the community by hosting your own garage sale. Please register to appear on our Community Garage Sale Map using the button below. The map below will show addresses for all registered sales in the community. Submissions will be listed on the map by Monday, June 3 by 4 p.m. The deadline to submit your address is Monday, June 3 at 12 p.m. Please note that the map does not automatically update after completing your submission and that updates will be made periodically until the final update is made on Monday, June 3 by 4 p.m.
Garage Sale signs are available for purchase at the Ranch House front desk for $8, cash or check only.
Don’t forget to follow the Signage Policy when you place out your garage sale signs!
