Reporting Wildlife
When a wildlife injury call is received, Rangers may investigate as time allows or determine over the phone if the animal should be left alone to let nature take its .
In general, residents should refer to the following guidelines and contact information:
KCRMA PARK RANGERS – 303.979.1876. ext. 170
-Will only euthanize sick/injured deer/elk with a rifle, may call seven days a week (7-530pm) and a ranger will respond depending on location and time available. Seasonals are not certified through CPW to euthanize an animal.
