Small Group Fitness Class Schedule

All classes are held at the Community Center. Preregistration is required.

Small Group Class Descriptions

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced exerciser, Ken-Caryl Ranch’s group exercise classes harness the energy of many for a motivating, challenging and totally addictive workout experience. A variety of traditional and innovative classes are offered by our nationally certified fitness and yoga instructors.

Many classes are included in the monthly membership or available on a drop-in bases. We also offer specialty fee-based classes.

JUNIOR CERTIFICATION

Membership Fee:

Youth 12-14 years of age must be certified by our personal trainers in order to use the exercise/weight equipment at the Community Center. If the minimum is not met, class will be postponed until the next session. Participants must pre-register for this class, no walk-ins will be accepted. Youth 12-13 years old must be accompanied by an adult when using the weight and cardio equipment.

INSURANCE PROGRAMS

Membership Fee:

The Ken-Caryl Ranch Community Center accepts the following nationwide insurance-based exercise programs:

  • SilverSneakers by Tivity Health
  • Silver&Fit (includes Active&Fit)
  • Renew Active by United Healthcare

Members of these insurance-based programs may have payment for their Pool Season passes waived, based on eligibility. To verify eligibility and to enroll, please visit the Community Center or the Ranch House during normal business hours. You may also contact 303-979-2233, or email Janet Robbins at janetr@kcranch.org.

Beginning January 2, all participants of any of these programs will be required to recheck elibibility and re-enroll in the appropriate program at the Community Center front desk.

There will be no change in your benefit, only in how Ken-Caryl is reimbursed.

Class Fee:

  • Resident: $15

Designed for ages 14 and up to develop cardiovascular fitness and strengthen muscles; this is the perfect way to get fit without stressing your joints. Swimming helps alleviate pain, improve circulation, and promote healing and muscle development for those suffering from physical ailments resulting from injury, disease, or aging.

Members enrolled in Silver Sneakers, Peer Fit or Renew active, may have their pool season fees waived, however class registration is still required. To verify eligibility in one of these insurance-based programs, please stop by the Community Center or the Ranch House during normal business hours.

PLEASE NOTE:  The air temperature must be 60 degrees or more at the time class begins for the class to be held.  If you have any questions, call the Community Center Front desk at 303-979-2233 to verify classes.
