TRAILS Youth Committee: Teens Rising Above in Leadership and Service

Is your 7th, 8th or 9th grader looking to make a difference? Ken-Caryl will be accepting applications to the KCR TRAILS Youth Committee. This is a long-term program where students grow and learn together. The KCR TRAILS Youth Committee aims to build character, develop leadership skills, and serve the Ken-Caryl and surrounding area through community service/involvement. This program is an extension of our Middle School Leadership Corps summer program! Applications will be accepted through Oct. 15, and the committee will be announced no later than Oct. 22. Babysitting Clinic

Certification for boys and girls 11 years of age and older. Bring a sack lunch and drink. You must stay for the entire time to become certified. Classes are held at the Ranch House.

At Home Alone

This course is designed for the 10-13 year olds who will be left home alone for short periods of time. Outlined in course: Safe decision making, constructive time management and personal safety. The basics of firstaid treatment and prevention for burns, cuts, fractures/sprains and choking will be covered.

Summer Teen/Pre-Teen Programs

Ken-Caryl Ranch has a variety of fun and exciting Teen and Pre-Teen programs planned for the summer! These programs range from theatre club to rock climbing and all fun in between! Registration begins in April. Teen program registration is not done through the lottery system. See below for a sample of the camps offered last summer.
