Enrichment Programs
2025-26 School Year
We offer fun programs all throughout the school year, for youth ages 1 to 18 and sometimes parents are even included! Activities range from after school cooking classes to evening nature programs for families to art lessons!

Summer 2026
Ken-Caryl Ranch is happy to host contracted enrichment camps each summer. These are conveniently located at the Community Center. Explore the many offerings to look forward to this summer!

Mad Science of Colorado
Mad Science is bringing their reputable summer camp programs to KCR! These camps focus on hands-on, fun STEM experiences that help form student’s love of science, technology, engineering, and math!

Mad Science: Eureka!
Dates: June 8-12
Enjoy a week of fun-filled, hands-on, invention-themed activities highlighting inventors that changed our world through their explorations. With a bit of ingenuity, children work through challenges using basic materials, simple machines, and the best tool of all, their minds. Features cool gadgets that kids design and make!
Mad Science: Chemicals, Cells, and Crime
Dates: July 6-10
Turn chemistry inside and out in this hands-on summer science adventure! Campers will be looking closely at cells and stepping away to see the big picture. From the organ systems that make our bodies work to using chemical reactions to solve a crime, campers explore a composition of science knowledge and scientific techniques.
Mad Science: Underground Explorers
Dates: July 20-24
Learn about archaeology and the techniques scientists use to excavate long lost cities! Discover ancient civilizations and the tools and artifacts they used in everyday life! Study bone fragments, pottery shards, amber deposits, and fossils; understand what they can tell us about history! Make and take-home projects each day, like a fossil reproduction, an amber time capsule, and coins from around the world!
Imagine Arts Academy by Crayola®
We are excited to continue to bring the Crayola® Imagine Arts Academy of Colorado program to KCR! Their camps encourage self-expression, while teaching children foundational art techniques and real-world topics, creative problem-solving, and critical thinking skills!

Imagine Arts: Artists’ Passport-Travel the World through Art
Dates: June 15-18 (4-day week)
Children embark on an around-the-world cultural adventure. They explore far-off places and learn about the people who live there, from the Americas to Polynesia, from the city to the countryside. They make different masterpieces in each project, such as drums, masks, canvases, prints, buses, and more!
Play-Well TEKnologies with LEGO®
Play-Well continues to provide exceptional programming to children 1st to 5th grade! These camps utilize LEGO materials and have a building and engineering focus while exploring fundamental STEM concepts through play.

Play-Well: Radical Rides + STEM Challenge
Dates: July 27-31
Design and innovate during a full day of LEGO® fun with an experienced Play-Well TEKnologies instructor. First, apply real-world concepts in physics, engineering, and architecture through engineer-designed projects. Then, get anywhere, any way by building fast and furious vehicles of all kinds! We guarantee that our Play-Well instructors will help you get movin’ and groovin’ through the world.
Play-Well: Minecraft + STEM Challenge
Dates: August 3-7
Gear up for a full-day LEGO® camp packed with hands-on and minds-on STEM fun! In this challenge based program, start by building engineer-designed projects and putting your creativity and problem solving into action. Then, step into a Minecraft world powered by LEGO® resources as we will build shelters to keep out Creepers, craft mystical items that only true masters can wield, and perfect our crossbow skills to stop the Wither from taking over!
Play-Well: Pokémon + STEM Challenge
Dates: August 10-14
Gear up for a full-day LEGO® camp packed with hands-on and minds-on STEM fun! In this challenge based program, start by building engineer-designed projects and putting your creativity and problem solving into action. Then, learn to build your favorite Pokémon, evolve them into more powerful versions, and come face to face with the current champion in an epic battle for the title. Challenge yourself in the world of Engineering and Pokémon in this new full-day themed camp for LEGO® fanatics!
Createry
Createry believes summer is a time for letting young creative minds explore new adventures through self expression, imagination and BIG ideas. Our goal is to enrich your child’s summer with fantastically fun themes, unique crafts and art projects all while fostering their own creative flair.

Createry: Fantastic Foods
Dates: June 22-26
Doughnuts, Pizza, pies and spaghetti – we will create them all using pop art! You will create artwork that is inspired by food, using painting, clay, fabric, up-cycled materials and more! You will eat up the creativity!
Createry: Super Safari
Dates: July 13-17
Animal party time! Lions, Tigers, critters, and creatures – we will go wild this week with animals! Join us as we create art that is fantastically funny, and fur-tastic! Whether you love furry friends or prefer scales, each day will be a new animal adventure using different materials and supplies from paint, collage, creative cardboard, clay and fabric.
Createry: Enchanted Forest
Dates: August 10-14

Enter the enchanted forest and discover all the magical and curious things waiting for your to create! Throughout the week we will investigate mushrooms and plants, discover all different magical creatures lurking in the underbrush and create projects that are sure to delight. We use all different kids of art materials and create projects to delight and intrigue young minds. Whether you love fairies or prefer gnomes, each day will be a new magical adventure using different materials and supplies from paint, clay, collage and more!
