SCHOOL-AGE CAMPS

TURKEY BREAK CAMP 

Make sure your child has something fun to do before the holiday by signing them up for our Turkey Break Camp at the Ranch House! Each day the group will go on a special off-site field trip (schedule below).

Hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Location:  Ranch House, 7676 S. Continental Divide Road

Dates and Field Trips:

  • Nov. 24: Warrior Challenge
  • Nov. 25: Nickel-a-Play
  • Nov. 26: South Suburban Sports Complex (ice skating)

*All field trips are subject to change.

Grades: Kinder-6th grade

Fee per day: $67/In District; $84/Out of District

WINTER BREAK CAMP 

Keep your child engaged and entertained during winter break by enrolling them in our Winter Break Camp at the Ranch House! Each day includes a fun off-site field trip (see schedule below).

Hours & Location: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Ranch House- 7676 S. Continental Divide Road

SCHOOL-AGE SUMMER CAMPS 

The best way to spend your summer! Traditional day camp options are located at the Ranch House and Dakota Lodge for school-age campers and at the Community Center for preschool-age campers. See more info below!

Registration is online!

When registering, please select the camp based on the grade your child will enter for the 2026–2027 school year and confirm that your child’s birthdate is accurate.

  • Each camper must be 5 years old by June 1 to participate in any school-age camps. (This is a childcare licensing requirement.)

  • We offer 10 weeks of summer camp, and families may register by the week.

  • Only full weeks are available—no partial-week options.

  • Two holiday weeks—Juneteenth (June 19) and Independence Day (observed July 3)—will have prorated fees.

  • A $40 deposit per child, per week is required at registration. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, but it applies toward your total tuition.

Pricing, Dates, and Daily Hours

  • Fee for 5-Day Week:

    • Resident: $325

    • Non-Resident: $423
      (Fees are subject to board approval and will be finalized by December 31, 2025.)

  • Dates: June 1–Aug. 6, Mondays through Fridays

  • Daily Hours: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Cancellation & Waitlist Information

  • Cancellation deadline: March 31
    After this date, no refunds or credits will be given.

  • Cancellations must be made in writing to youthprograms@kcranch.org.

  • Waitlists will be reviewed as cancellations are received.

  • Please remember that the $40 per week, per child deposit is non-refundable.

nature camps

Having an online account is required to complete this registration process. We recommend creating an account in advance of registration. Be sure to review your account details to ensure your address and family member info is correct.

Registration Phases

  • Feb. 3 at 9 a.m. → Opens for B&A Premier Plan families

  • Feb. 10 at 9 a.m. → Opens for District Residents

  • Feb. 24 at 9 a.m. → Opens to All (Resident & Non-Resident)

Each camper must be 5 years old by June 1 to participate in any school-age camps.

SCHOOL-AGE CAMPS AT THE RANCH HOUSE 

Following a weekly theme, children will participate in crafts, science projects, cooking activities, large and small group games, and team building. Once a week, each camp will go on an off-site field trip. Camps include group tennis lessons twice a week and swimming at the Ranch House pool three times a week. Swim lessons are available Monday through Thursday for campers under age 10 during weeks they are enrolled.

THE HOOTS

Grades: K* – 1st grade

*Children must be 5 years old by June 1 in order to register

THE BEARS

Grades: 2nd – 3rd grade

THE LIONS

Grades: 4th – 6th grade

SCHOOL-AGE CAMPS AT DAKOTA LODGE 

Following a weekly theme, children will participate in nature-based crafts, science projects, cooking activities, large and small group games, and team building. Once a week, the camps will go on an off-site field trip. Camps include group tennis lessons and swimming at the Community Center once a week, along with weekly hikes in the Ken-Caryl Valley area.
